The initiation to school is completed with the second year of KG when they learn to read and write English while  training in listening and speaking is continued. They learn to read small books of their level, write simple texts with a little help from teachers, do age appropriate number work up to numbers 20, more activities in science, songs and those for creative development.
The process of understanding and experiencing is continued as the students move on to primary classes. The school attempts to make learning real and interesting and never for examination centered. Teaching of various subjects is done through carefully designed activities rather than depending only on books. No home works are given in the 􀀁rst six years in school and all the learning materials are kept in the school. These study materials of the students are sent home by the year end. Class libraries are maintained in three languages viz, English, Hindi and Malayalam and a special time is set everyday for reading. The books in each standard are carefully chosen keeping in mind the level of students. The students use the books for reading for pleasure and also for finding useful information to add to their subject knowledge. 

Worksheets and work cards are provided to students in the Primary classes in number work. The students who complete their regular number work can choose work cards to continue with more challenging work for which answer keys for self checking are given.

Classes 2 to 8 have selected story books as part of English language learning programme. There are worksheets to go with these stories. Along with great support for reading, creative writing is also encouraged.

Specially designed listening and speaking activities are done in all these classes. While the students learn three languages, Mathematics, Environmental Science and practical lessons in Information Technology in primary classes as per the CBSE syllabus, Science and Social science replace Environmental science in Middle school and High School. As students move to higher levels, more attention is paid to broaden their horizons of experiences through lab work, 􀀁eld trips, observation, discussions and  opportunities for thinking. Students with specific  difficulties are given extra help.

There are many activities organized by the students round the year. They get training in organization and leadership through activities. There is a charity fund named as ‘Life Line’ and the school is able to help the sick, poor and needy through the donations given to Life Line. The collection and management of the fund is done by
students.
